I am a photographer based in the picturesque Emmental valley. Together with my partner and our cats, we live in a cosy little house and enjoy the peace and quiet and nature here.

I find all surroundings interesting to photograph. Be it a special corner in the town or the old wooden bridge over the river. Everything has its appeal and is photogenic, depending on what emotions you want to capture in a picture. I like to work spontaneously with everything that is already available at our photo location.

My journey in photography began with my parents' old analogue camera, which I used to capture family moments. In 2006 I turned to digital photography and started with concerts and portraits before I found my passion for wedding photography 14 years ago.

In all those years I have learned to be spontaneous and flexible and to master every situation with imagination and boldness. Each photography session should be a beautiful and memorable experience with my clients, where we can have fun together and where you end up with images from me that will inspire you.

• 2019 | Started playing drums.

• 2017 | Opening of the recording studio MUSIGSTÖCKLI in Lützelflüh, together with my partner, Micha Loosli.

• 2014 | Move from Zurich to Bern.

• 2010 | Founded Nicole Imhof photography.

• 2009 | Foundation of the music magazine ARTNOIR, so that I can combine my love of music and my passion for photography.

• 1991 | Bought my first SLR camera.

• 1971 | Landed on planet earth.
